The Flexbone Association [http://www.FlexboneAssociation.com/] is an organization who’s mission is to increase the fundamental knowledge and promotion of the flexbone offense in organized football around the world. Founded by Scott Jazdzewski and Lou Cella, the company took it’s business to the next level by enhancing their web presence by employing Manassy Media Group, LLC.
The goal of the site was to appeal to any football coach in the world to first recognize the Flexbone Association brand, and second to realize they are the leader in knowledge for this offense.
Manassy Media’s goal was to take a site that was mostly a presence and to take it to an interactive tool taking advantage of social media mediums as well as providing a content management system where the owners could take over using a web interface. The site was so easy to use that there wasn’t any training required when Scott and Lou took the site over.
In a matter of days from the launch, business increased in their popular Coach Forums, a place where coaches can talk turkey on the offense and change ideas while networking with their peers.
Manassy Media stressed to the owners that it was very important to not only display the brand of the organization on the web site, but to have a consistent look on all mediums whether that be traditional print, T-Shirts, official letterhead or web assets. The Flexbone association did not have a logo at all and it was decided Manassy Media would develop the concept. The inspiration was the Navy football team, probably the most famous college team to run the flexbone.
The site is developed in such a way that anyone can sign up to be part of the site. Scott and Lou also have famous coaches post to the site to share their knowledge and what they have learned. The site is loaded with plays, videos and many other resources for coaches.
